and rows of potted titan arums lining the walkway
flash gordon/metropolis skyscrapers and
cordwainer smith's earthport and
loops of futuristic highways
marching off in the distance
and the titan arums all in bloom
the whole plaza redolent in intense odor of rotting fish
clouds of flies thick about the flowers
