Cranberry Crumble

Combine:
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup sugar
rub in
1/3 cup butter
mix to crumbly consistency.
spread 1/2 of flour mixture on bottom of well-greased 8 inch square pan, press down firmly.
add cranberry sauce (approx 12 or 15 ounce can whole berry [not jellied], or about 2 cups homemade).
spread cranberry sauce over flour mixture in pan.
add
1/2 cup chopped nuts to remaining unused flour mixture.
sprinkle nut and flour mixture over cranberry layer and press down lightly.
bake at 375 degrees F
for 45-50 minutes.
cut into squares while warm.
serve with whipped cream.
